Back in 2014, when OliBea was opened, our family was Krissy, myself, Oliver and Beatrice. To honor those two wonderful kids that were brought into our lives, the combined name of OliBea was the obvious choice. Of course, our family has increased by one with Henry arriving in 2015. Maybe we’ll rename to HenrOliBea one of these days…but for now we’re still OliBea.

I strive daily to celebrate this city I’m so proud of and the city that has given me and my family so much! The farmers that I buy produce and meat from are not just order-takers, they are my friends. I travel to the farms and meat the animals and walk the farms. Without the farmers, OliBea would not be what it is.

I make food to make people happy. That’s why you will be greeted with a smiling face…even at 7am…when you visit our home on Central Street. It’s warm and inviting (except in July and August. That’s when it’s cool and inviting!). Our food reflects the fun and love we have for the city.

The OliBea Team – the OliBea Family – is second to none. These guys do the heavy lifting and deserve recognition. Of course, our family members come and go, but each person who works or has worked here holds a special place in my heart.

Parking can be…challenging downtown, we know! In addition to paid street parking there is free street parking on Willow Ave and it continues under the James White Bridge. A number of other paid lots are available near us as well!
